Solution:
Krendls Ltd jointly with our partner's company Cannonbose LLC delivered Topcon the website with ability to manage their contents and products in a easy manner.
The work-scope includes:

• Adoption of the layout to the CMS template engine (TYPO3, TemplaVolia)
• Building unique site navigation based on TYPO3 pages, products and product categories (TYPO3 hooks, tt_news)
• Building the Product system. All product & categories pages looks in one, readable style (tt_news hooks, MVC implementation)
• Implementing the Search capability with "google-style" layout. (crawler + indexed_search)
• Building the Company News section with ability to manage PDF press releases, and auto-archive function (tt_news + tt_news hooks)
• Building the TYPO3 to LDAP user synchronization module with possibility to handle connection problems via queue (topcon_ldap extension from scratch)
• Building of the our own URL parsing engine. This allows to use human-readable URLs for SEO proposes (RealURL handler)
• "Smart Forms" for ordering video and getting price for the products with automatic staff notifications (AJAX)
