About:
The Insurance and Financial Planning (IFP) web application automates and streamlines management of client's data allows extrapolate analyze it. It includes entering and tracking transactions, insurances, mortgages, agent commissions and producing of client's statements. The IFP web application is an accounting system with a high level of security. System have 3 layers of security checking. First on the Presentation Layer it controls user rights for web forms and UI controls. Secondly checking is implemented in business layer and controls user rights for actions. Thirdly checking is implemented in data layer and controls user rights for data objects and tables. Additional Audit Layer allows logging data changes for all users and as a result system can review history for all data objects.

Solution:
Krendls delivered the IFP intranet web application.
The work-scope includes:

  • Implementing high security framework based on Microsoft Security API and Neo persistent framework.
  • MS SQL server accounts synchronization service.
  • Implemented main system modules: Agents, Beneficiaries, Commissions, Insurance, Mortgage, Scheduled Payments, Source of Funds, Transactions, Contacts, Documents.
  • Implemented Audit Log module for analyzing history of data changes.
  • Implementing scheduled batch processing functionality with calculations of accrued interest, investment commission, mortgage payments, yield disbursement.
  • Building reporting subsystem based on Crystal Reports and MS Word report templates.
  • Implementing email notification and reporting modules.
